Phase 5 of RiverLink Lower Hutt complete

Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi is a transformational project for Te Awa Kairangi ki Tai – Lower Hutt. It’s a partnership between iwi Taranaki Whānui ki Te Upoko o Te Ika and Ngāti Toa Rangatira, Greater Wellington Regional Council, Hutt City Council, Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, with an Alliance of AECOM and Fletcher delivering the project.

The project includes crucial flood protection and river restoration work, improvements to public transport, walking and cycling routes, local roads and the SH2 Melling Interchange, as well as urban revitalisation of the Lower Hutt city centre.

Griffiths Drilling are proud to have been part of investigation and design Phase 1 through to Phase 5 for the Alliance. This is another fantastic local project that our team are very proud to be part of.
